Bowen
Bowen is situated in the northern region of the Whitsunday Coast, halfway between the regional centres of Mackay and Townsville. Its community of just over 10,000 enjoys a warm climate, palm fringed beaches, and beautiful secluded bays. Our Bowen campus is located on the outskirts of the town on Queens Road, just a five minute drive from the town centre.

Agriculture Centre of Excellence
Our agriculture students have access to a range of practical workspaces where they can work hands on with plants, tools, agriculture equipment and machinery. Our Agriculture Centre of Excellence facilities include: a shed for practical delivery, a grow pod and farm bot, an environmental wash down bay and a laboratory room for soil sampling.
The Bowen Health Hub
The Bowen Health Hub provides students with a simulated clinical training room which replicates a real-life hospital environment. Students will be able to use industry equipment and technology to gain the hands-on skills required to work in a professional health setting.
Automotive and engineering workshop
Our automotive and engineering students learn hands on in our fully equipped automotive and engineering training workshop. Learn on the same equipment and tools used in industry with access to engines, hydraulic pumps, metals and synthetic metals, starter motors, turbos, and well as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and arc welders.
Video conferencing facilities
We want to support our students no matter where they are or what study mode they prefer. Our Bowen campus brings our teachers into campus with our state-of-the-art video conferencing facilities. These training facilities are designed to provide tutorial support to students who are studying externally. With our virtual training rooms you can speak directly to your teacher, no matter how far away you are, and interact with your classmates in a real-time environment.
