Our range of on-campus training restaurants not only provide our students with a range of affordable food options, but also give our hospitality and cookery students an opportunity to learn and practice their food preparation and service skills.
Our South Bank campus has two on-campus training restaurants where students receive high-quality training in state-of-the art facilities under the careful guidance of industry experienced teachers. The First Course offers affordable meals with friendly service in a casual setting and allows our hospitality students to learn the workings of a day-to-day bistro. For a fine-dining experience, caters to corporate functions and anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It gives our hospitality students the opportunity to learn and practice the art of five-star service to paying customers.
Located at our Loganlea campus, our Lilypond training restaurant gives our hospitality students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment. Hospitality students will have the opportunity to both prepare and serve food and beverages to paying customers and learn the workings of a real restaurant in state-of-the-art facilities under the guidance of industry-experienced teachers.
Located at our Ipswich campus The Miner's Right Restaurant is open to the public for breakfast and lunch. All dishes are prepared, cooked and served by students and trainees, allowing our hospitality students to learn the workings of a real restaurant and gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment. Students practice their skills in state-of-the-art facilities under the guidance of industry-experienced teachers.
Futures Training Restaurant is located at our Toowoomba campus and is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers a range of different service styles depending on student's training requirements including set menus, a la carte, bistro, and buffet. The restaurant operates from a training perspective, allowing our hospitality students the opportunity to experience training in a safe and supportive environment.
Horizons Training Restaurant is located at our Warwick campus and operates from a training perspective, allowing our hospitality students the opportunity to experience training in a safe and supportive environment. The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a variety of high quality and affordable meals and beverages to students, staff, and the wider community.
Our Mooloolaba campus features two training restaurants on site that offer excellent dining experiences delivered by our trainee hospitality and cookery students. From a blackboard lunch menu to buffet breakfasts, Eco Blue Bistro and Bar offers a range of affordable, quality dishes in a relaxed bistro style atmosphere. Cartwrights Restaurant and Bar offers a fine dining experience at a price you can afford, giving our hospitality students the opportunity to learn and practice the art of five-star service to paying customers.
Enjoy a first-class culinary experience at Echo's Training Restaurant at our Bundaberg campus. Customers will be waited on by trainee students with food prepared by future top chefs. The restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner and provides students with a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience preparing and serving food for real paying customers. Opening times and days depend on the student class calendar.
Images Training Restaurant is located at our Hervey Bay campus and offers an impressive menu with quality service at affordable prices. Located at our Kingaroy campus, the Taabinga Training Restaurant is a fully licensed, open to the public restaurant that offers a variety of high quality and affordable meals and beverages. The restaurant operates from a training perspective, allowing our hospitality students the opportunity to experience training in a safe and supportive environment.
Our Cairns campus features two award-winning restaurants - Tropics Restaurant and The Queenslander. They offer a range of creative food at affordable prices using our region's best quality seasonal ingredients. The training restaurants give our apprentices and students a valuable opportunity to showcase their new talents in the kitchen and front of house as they learn from qualified hospitality teachers with years of industry experience.
Palmers Training Restaurant is located at our Whitsundays campus. Open to the public throughout the year for lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers first class meals at affordable prices. Hospitality students will have the opportunity to both prepare and serve food and beverages to paying customers and learn the workings of a real restaurant in state-of-the-art facilities under the guidance of industry-experienced teachers.

Located at our Robina campus, Green Fields Bar + Restaurant is a sophisticated, cultured lounge bar and restaurant. Green Fields aims to create a unique paddock to plate experience for diners, with produce is harvested from the Queensland and Northern NSW food bowl. Open to the public, this restaurant provides valuable, real-world experience those studying hospitality and cookery. Food and drinks are prepared and served by TAFE Queensland students under the supervision of industry-experienced staff.
