Worth over $23 billion and employing more than 115,000 people, there are a range of different career opportunities available within the printing industry including pre-press technician, print machinist, and screen printer.
Desktop publishers or pre-press technicians set and compose text and graphics into a suitable format for printing. Print machinists set up and operate a range of different printing presses including letterpress, lithographic, flexographic, gravure, digital, and offset. Screen printers prepare stencils and set up and operate screen print equipment.
