Tertiary transport concession card

From 1 July 2014 all students studying full-time at TAFE Queensland are required to have a Tertiary Transport Concession Card (TTCC) as proof of eligibility to purchase and travel on a concession go card or concession paper ticket.

To avoid fines, you must carry your TTCC and a valid student identification card with you at all times when travelling - this is your proof of entitlement to travel on a concession fare.

You must be a full-time student in a course approved by Centrelink for Austudy, Abstudy or Youth Allowance to be eligible for a TTCC.

Apply for your Tertiary Transport Concession Card

To apply for a TTCC you will be required to complete and sign a two-part application form:

Part A - Details of applicant; including full name, student and contact details

Part B - Institution details; is to be completed and authorised by us.  You will need to contact your local TAFE Queensland customer service centre to arrange a completed and authorised form.

Once your application (Part A and Part B) are completed and authorised, you need to submit them to Translink for processing.
