Course overview

Wake up and smell the coffee!

If you want to become a barista, you'll need to complete the Basic Barista short course at TAFE Queensland so you can professionally prepare and serve a range of espresso coffees.

We'll teach you how to operate coffee making equipment including the espresso machine and coffee grinder. This program is ideal if you're operating in a cafe establishment or seeking employment in a variety of hospitality areas.
