Course overview

Learn about the fundamental principles of building design in a practical environment. Despite our reliance on automation of technology, manual design and the process behind it still holds prevalence for the role of the building designer.

Gain knowledge and an appreciation for the process through a series of exercises based on real-world. Examples include site analysis, building regulation, visual and spatial design construction principles and basic Computer Aided Design (CAD) / 3D modelling.

This is an ideal course for new students of architecture and building design or anyone interested in learning about the fundamentals of building design.
