In this course you will learn how to instruct and manage the performance of staff and how to supervise routines and performance. You will also develop skills to recruit and induct staff to work in the farming industry.
Successful completion of this skill set will prepare you to supervise the workforce in agricultural settings.

While there are no formal entry requirements, this skill set is at a diploma level and you will be required to have sound literacy, numeracy and technology skills and will need to draw on your own business management experiences for workplace based project assessments.
You will need to have access to the internet and a laptop or similar device to access farming enterprise with staff.
You will need to be working in the industry or have significant experience with access to a working farm/enterprise.
If you want to go on to further study at university, TAFE Queensland has a pathway option to get you there. In many cases, completing one of our diplomas may give you a full year of credit towards a degree with one of our partner universities.
