Entry requirements
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who have completed:
- UEENEEE104A Solve problems in d.c. circuits
- UEENEEE137A Document and apply measures to control OHS risks associated with electrotechnology work; and either
- UEENEEE108A Lay wiring/cabling and terminate accessories for extra-low voltage (ELV) circuits or UEENEEG106A Terminate cables, cords and accessories for low voltage circuits
OR
- hold an ‘Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence’ or equivalent issued in an Australian State or Territory meet the pre-requisite requirements of this unit.
Need to know
This accredited Skill Set short course contains the prerequisite unit required for the sustainable energy courses including Grid Connect Design and Install, SPS Design and Install, and Design and Install of Battery Storage Systems for Grid Connected PV Systems.
Replacement skill set
This skill set has been superseded, as of 4 October 2020. A transition period applies to enable current students to complete their study. The transition period finishes on 3 October 2022. If required, enrolments will be transitioned into the replacement qualification.
