Our focus for the class on 18th February 2023 is to build a functional pottery piece of your choosing using a versatile age old method. Create something usable that will be a wonderful conversation piece in your home for years to come.
Invite your friends or make new ones while having fun sipping and sculpting a vessel of your choice such a mug, bowl, plant pot, jug, animal planter, vase, tea-light holder, urn, or anything else you can think of using the simple techniques you will learn. Create in a relaxed environment with the knowledge that you are making something sustainable that doesn’t harm the environment. You’ll learn simple skills that you can take away to even start creating at home. You definitely don’t want to miss this! No previous experience with clay is necessary, so complete beginners can enjoy this easy, creative experience in a relaxed, casual, and fun environment.
Everything is supplied including all materials, drinks and nibbles. And it’s not messy.
Pottery pieces will be available at your table for inspiration!
Your creation will be taken away by the facilitator at the end of the class, bisque fired, glazed with a gorgeous white glaze, and then glaze fired to make it functional. Your masterpiece will be ready for collection in 4-6 weeks from the facilitator, who will organise a time for you to collect. You’ll be surprised how fabulous your creation looks after its glazed!
Included in your enrolment- students will receive an individual cheese & fruit platter with a piccolo bottle of wine.
After the lesson, students are invited to continue the evening upstairs at newly opened rooftop restaurant and bar.
