Launch your career in the printing industry with this entry-level course. Develop a broad range of knowledge and practical skills that can be used across a range of roles. Despite the popularity of and increase in demand for digital materials, there are still many niche and specialist opportunities available in the industry.

You will develop skills in print manufacturing, folding, guillotining, collating, and finishing print items. You will also learn how to set up the machines that produce books, brochures, calendars, and a variety of other products. Our passionate, industry-experienced teachers will provide all the support and guidance you need to succeed.

On successful completion of this qualification you may find work as a general or machine operator, ink mixer, mail house production worker, paper products machinist, print finisher, sacks and bags maker, and more. You can also complete further study to become a technician or manager.

Employers need to be able to provide the necessary human and physical resources to qualify for an apprentice.
