The creative arts industry plays an important role in Australia's economy. According to the Australian Government's MySkills service, it contributes over $10 billion to the our economy and employs nearly 100,000 people. The emergence of new technologies and wide range of job prospects available mean this is an exciting industry to be a part of.
In this practical course you will reinforce your music skills and decide on an instrumental specialisation. You'll study instrumental techniques, arranging music, performing, and written notation. You will also learn about micro business opportunities to set yourself up for a successful career in the music industry.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a singer songwriter, sound mixer, or music marketing manager.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Prospective students are required to attend an informal music audition (either instrumental or voice) and a personal interview with a member of the teaching staff prior to enrolment. Please note that an audition entry can be by successful completion of Certificate III in Music.
No specific resources are required to successfully complete this course.
