Course overview

Go further with your career in graphic design with this advanced dual qualification. This course will give you the specialised technical skills required to complete complex graphic design projects in a diverse range of corporate and creative settings.

Demand for qualified designers is growing, with a tendency for advertising firms to outsource visual design work. Increased use of online advertising and mobile applications are contributing to steady growth in the specialised design services industry, with revenue forecast to reach $4.6 billion by 2022.

This course covers the advanced skills required to establish, negotiate, and refine design briefs. You'll use industry standard software, including Content Management Systems and the Adobe Creative Suite, to prepare creative work for both print and digital formats. In your final semester you will study in a simulated design studio environment to prepare you for life in the industry.

Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a graphic designer in a variety of commercial contexts across both print and digital media.
