Start your career in web design and production sooner with this advanced dual qualification. This creative pathway, delivered in partnership with the University of Canberra, has been specifically designed for those wanting to gain a broad range of media production skills.

This dual qualification will give you the advanced skills necessary to work within this creatively challenging sector. In our industry-focused Diploma of Screen and Media you will develop a greater understanding of screen and television production, editing, sound recording, story boarding, story line development, digital simulation and animation, and the testing of interactive media and game design.

The University of Canberra's progressive Bachelor of Games and Interactive Design will give you an understanding of the game design and production process, from concept development through to the production methodologies that are applied in today's leading game studios.

Graduates will be qualified to start a career in a diverse range of settings including games design, software engineering, or animation.

The following selection criteria applies only to the Diploma component of this course:

  • Completion of Year 12; or
  • Non school-leavers are selected according to eligibility and merit, vocational experience, previous study and personal competencies

The following selection criteria applies only to the Bachelor component of this course:

Successful completion of:

  • CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media - Interactive Media; or
  • CUF50207 Diploma of Interactive Digital Media

Completion of your Diploma awards you a full year's credit towards this degree.
