Course overview

Upgrade your career in events and hospitality with this advanced-level double award that will qualify you to take on management roles within the industry.

Rising discretionary incomes, busier lifestyles and reduced leisure time are fuelling strong growth in the restaurant and events industries. This course will give you the specialised skills and knowledge to lead and manage people, coordinate marketing activities, manage budgets, prepare quotes, and select venues and sites. You will also gain managerial skills including rostering, budgeting, marketing, and people management, learn customer service skills in our training restaurants, as well learn as how to operate a bar and prepare espresso coffee. Our highly-experience team of industry professionals are the best in the business and will give you the one-on-one guidance you need to succeed in your studies.

Successful completion of this course will give you the expertise required to work as a conference or venue coordinator, event or exhibition planner, restaurant manager, or motel manager. It will also give you the foundation knowledge to pursue further studies in this field.
