Course overview

Course overview

How often do you hear members of your team or your family say ‘There are just not enough hours in the day’ (or days in the week, or weeks in the year)? How often do you find yourself thinking that? These are normal human responses to the relentless march of time, and while no one can hold back time, people who actively manage their time and use it efficiently usually have less cause for complaint.

This interesting program is based on current international best practice, accredited scientific theory and local environmental conditions. It will help anyone who finds themselves short of time either at work or at home, and those who would like to improve their own and their employees’ efficient use of time.

Areas covered include:

  • Conceptualising time
  • Overcoming barriers to efficient time management
  • Setting time management goals
  • Developing time management tactics.

Participants learn many time saving techniques, including:

  • Effective planning
  • Effective prioritising
  • Making the most of your best times
  • Dealing with interruptions
  • Responsible delegating.

The benefits of improved time management are numerous: less activity and more productivity, reduced stress levels, job satisfaction and a better balance between work and leisure. The knowledge and skills gained from this course will help you enjoy those benefits.

Participants receive free handouts during this program to keep as an ongoing resource.

This short course is non-accredited therefore is not registered with the National Training Register.
