Course overview

Course overview

Sway is a presentation and communication tool from Microsoft designed for the digital era that works across all devices.

If you want to learn a new, interactive way to give your presentations, reports and tell all your stories, this course is for you!

In this short course, you will learn how to create a Sway presentation from scratch, how to import content from PowerPoint or Word, how to publish your storyline, and how to share a Sway with others.

Sway makes it quick and easy. Create and share polished, interactive reports, presentations, ... personal stories, and more. You can bring your Sway to life with interactive content. Include a video to talk about your idea or add an interactive chart to let others dive into the details. It's super easy to share a Sway. Family, friends, classmates, and co-workers can see your creation on the web without signing up or downloading additional software. And you can change privacy settings for more control.

The purpose of Sway is to convey concepts quickly, easily and clearly. Unlike PowerPoint, it is primarily for presenting ideas on-screen rather than to an audience. Tutorials, topic introductions and interactive reports are the sort of things to which it lends itself. Sway presentations are backed up to the cloud and can be easily shared or embedded in websites.

This short course is non-accredited therefore is not registered with the National Training Register.
