If you have difficulty paying for the full cost of a course upfront, you may be eligible for a payment plan.
Students must present themselves in a professional manner, including coming to class in a tunic (black top with short sleeves), black pants and black enclosed shoes.
Students are required to have their hair tied back and have short natural nails (no artificial nails). All facial piercings are to be removed (and during certain practical classes body piercing will need to be removed). No jewellery to be worn with the exception of a pair of studs in the lower ear and a wedding ring.
For students completing Make-up, Manicure and Pedicure and Eye Lash Extension Courses, equipment may be required - details will be provided upon enrolment. Students will be required to supply models for some courses.
Skill and knowledge assessments are an essential step in progressing through your course. You may be assessed in a number of ways while you are studying at TAFE Queensland, including observation, written assessment, questioning, portfolios, work samples, third-party feedback, and through recognition of prior learning.
