Statement of Participation
It is a known fact that no business can survive unless it has customers. The questions are, how do your potential customers know about your business and what gives you a competitive edge over your competition? The answer is marketing – and a major step is understanding that marketing is much more than traditional advertising and that any promotional activity is required to generate a suitable return.
The “Promotion for Small Business” course is available as either a standalone course, or as part of our Small Business Marketing: Bundle.
With a duration of 2 weeks, this short course introduces the basic concepts of marketing to small business operators in order for the best promotional opportunities to be determined. Ultimately, learn how you can define and best reach your real customers. The knowledge and skills you gain will be invaluable and could save you from making costly mistakes that can result from using the incorrect promotional mediums.
This course also introduces the different options available for online promotion including social media.
The “Promotion for Small Business” course also acts as a precursor to the Basics of Online Promotion and Social Media program also available at TAFE Queensland.
As this program is designed for both business owners and those in a position of building brand awareness it is also recommended as a professional development course.
This short course is non-accredited therefore is not registered with the National Training Register.
