During this course you will develop an advanced understanding of financial reporting, budget management and forecasting, income tax returns, and providing accurate accounting advice. FNS50217 - Diploma of Accounting
You must have successfully completed one of the following (or equivalent) to complete this course:
Students should be a minimum of 18 years of age. Student visa applicants under the age of 18 will be accepted where they demonstrate that they will be accompanied by a parent, legal custodian or a suitable relative who is aged 21 or over. Access to the internet and a computer/laptop, USB, Microsoft Office 2013 of later version, stationery items, textbooks may be required to be purchased.
Students will be required to work with MYOB files (provided by TAFE) for certain units. Please note that these MYOB files are only compatible with PC (not MAC).

You may be assessed in a number of ways while you are studying at TAFE Queensland, including observation, written assessment, questioning, portfolios, work samples, third-party feedback, and through recognition of prior learning.
