Normanton

Situated on the banks of the Norman River, Normanton is a small cattle town located in the Gulf Country region of north west Queensland. Normanton is the administrative centre of the Shire of Carpentaria and has a range of facilities including an aerodrome, bowling green, golf course, gun club, public library, racecourse, rodeo ground, and sports centre.
