Nominations for TAFE Queensland’s 2023 Trade Excellence Awards are NOW OPEN! If your apprentice or trainee is outstanding we want to hear from you!

Employers and teachers are encouraged to nominate apprentices from all year levels and all trade areas.

Nominations are accepted across a range of industries (Automotive & Diesel Fitting I Building & Construction I Cookery I Electrical & Instrumentation I Engineering I Hairdressing & Barbering I Plumbing I Refrigeration) in four categories:

• Apprentice of the Year
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Trade Student of the Year
• Female Trade Student of the Year
• TAFE at School Trade Student of the Year.

One exceptional trade student will be named the Outstanding Apprentice of the Year (winners of the above categories form the nominees for this category).

Nominations for Cairns close on Tuesday, 23 May 2023.
