Experience hands-on training in one of Australia's leading hospital groups. Through our partnership with St. Vincent’s Health Australia, students study the Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) at St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Toowoomba.
Through this partnership individuals can study the Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) at Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane and put what you learn in the classroom into practice in this world-class teaching hospital.
We have clinical labs that are very much like what to expect in the hospital setting and in acute care settings. We also have new, innovative technology where we can use virtual reality.
By completing her nursing diploma at TAFE Queensland, Annie will be able to work as an Enrolled Nurse while she continues her studies at university.
Study nursing
Our Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) will prepare you to work as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) within a diverse range of healthcare settings. After just 18 months you'll be fully qualified in nursing care, patient health analysis and administration, and monitoring medications.
Successful completion of our nursing diploma will qualify you to seek registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. You may also be eligible for up to one year of credit towards a Bachelor of Nursing, which is the minimum requirement to work as a Registered Nurse (RN).
