Where you can study

No other provider can match TAFE Queensland for scale and location options. Choose from 60 locations across the state; from Thursday Island in the north, down to Coolangatta in the south east corner and as far west as Mount Isa. We have Queensland covered, no matter where you are.

Our locations
North Queensland

The North Queensland region stretches from the Whitsundays in the south to Atherton and the Northern Peninsula area in the North, and as far west as Mount Isa. It includes the cities of Cairns and Townsville. 

Cairns is the gateway to the stunning World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest, and attracts over two million visitors annually. Our Cairns campus is located in the western suburb of Manunda approximately 10 minutes drive from the city centre.

Our Townsville (Pimlico) campus is located in the suburb of Pimlico, just a short 10 minute drive from the city centre.

Our Townsville (Trade Training Centre Bohle) campus is a $37 million state-of-the-art facility that trains more than 2,000 apprentices annually. 

The historical township of Atherton is located on the Atherton Tablelands in Tropical North Queensland. This fertile plateau features rolling green hills, stunning views, and high quality local produce including coffee, chocolate, wine, cheese, and tropical fruits.

Our Bowen campus offers a range of practical courses catering to the local community.

Our Burdekin campus offers courses designed to meet the needs of the local community.

The Charters Towers campus is located at the Dalrymple Trade Training Centre.

Our Cloncurry campus is located in the main street of the town with close access to cafes, food outlets, and other facilities. 

The Great Barrier Reef International Marine College offers a comprehensive range of training qualifications and certificates for the maritime industry.

Located in the town centre, our Ingham campus offers easy access to nearby cafes, food outlets, and other facilities.

Our Innisfail campus is located at the Innisfail State College, an integrated learning facility combining a secondary school, diverse learning centre, and TAFE Queensland campus.

Our Mount Isa campus is located just off the Barkly Highway approximately five minutes east of the town centre.

Our Northern Peninsula Area campus is located in the Torres Strait Islander community of Bamaga, approximately 40 kilometres from the northern tip of the Cape York Peninsula. 

Our Palm Island campus plays an important role in the local community and offers courses designed to meet the needs of the islands' residents.

Thursday Island is the main island in the Torres Strait region located 40 kilometres off the northern coast of the Cape York Peninsula. 

Our Whitsundays campus is located in Cannonvale, the business precinct of the Whitsundays region. 

Greater Brisbane

The Greater Brisbane region spans from Caboolture in the north to Loganlea in the south and as far west as Ipswich. It also incorporates our specialised SkillsTech trade training centres in Acacia Ridge, Alexandra Hills, Bracken Ridge and Eagle Farm. 

The Acacia Ridge campus is our flagship trade training centre spanning more than 22 hectares.

Enjoy the perfect blend of city life with a laid-back coastal atmosphere at our Alexandra Hills campus.

Located 20 kilometres north of Brisbane our Bracken Ridge campus is surrounded by green parks, bikeways, and walkways.

Caboolture shares its campus with the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC), offering both university and vocational courses from the one location.

Our Eagle Farm campus is located on the north side of the city approximately nine kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.

Our Grovely campus is renowned for the delivery of courses in horticulture and animal studies.

Our Inala campus has recently doubled in size with a $3.4 million expansion of its teaching spaces.

Our Ipswich campus is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Bundamba train station with nearby childcare facilities also available.

Located on Brisbane's south side only 40 mins from the city, our Loganlea campus offers a huge range of study options for students in Brisbane's outer suburbs. 

Our Mt Gravatt campus is located just 20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, offering students in Brisbane's south side a convenient location to pursue their study goals. 

Our Redcliffe campus offers a relaxed learning environment within easy walking distance of the Redcliffe business area and nearby beach.

Our South Bank campus is located in the heart of Brisbane's arts and cultural precinct adjacent to art galleries, performing arts venues, museum, and the State Library. 

Our Springfield campus is located within Education City, a central nucleus for education in the greater Springfield area.

Our Yarrabilba campus is an inclusive, engaging and responsive place that enables a thriving community to connect, learn earn and innovate.
