Who we are
TAFE Queensland is the largest, most experienced training and educator provider in the state. We deliver practical, industry-relevant training across a range of industries from entry-level certificates to bachelor degrees, at more than 50 locations in Queensland.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) demonstrates our commitment to closing the gap to ensure our first Australians can access the same opportunities for learning and prosperity that everyone enjoys in Australia.
We are the most experienced training provider in the state with a history of serving Queensland's communities for more than 135 years. We offer more than 500 practical, industry-relevant courses to more than 110,000 students each year.
Vocational education and training can be life changing. Our leadership team is comprised of some of the best thinkers and doers in the tertiary sector. They aim to inspire our students, stakeholders and staff to define their own version of ‘great’.
Our board is comprised of business and community leaders with expertise across public and private sectors. Our board sets the direction for the organisation and is responsible for monitoring our achievements against a community, student and industry-focused strategy.
