Looking to expand your plumbing capabilities and work with thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs)?
This course provides the skills and knowledge required to test, commission and maintain hot and heated water temperature control devices, including thermostatic mixing valves used in water services.
Through CPCPWT4023 Commission and maintain hot and heated water temperature control devices, you'll develop practical skills to test, commission and maintain TMVs in a range of plumbing applications.
Successful completion of this course may support your eligibility to apply to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for a Plumbing endorsement - Thermostatic mixing valve, subject to meeting all QBCC requirements.

If you have completed these units with another training provider, you will be required to provide a current academic transcript to demonstrate that you meet the prerequisite requirements.

QBCC licencing information
Successful completion of this course may support your eligibility to apply to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for a Plumbing endorsement - Thermostatic mixing valve, subject to meeting all QBCC requirements.
This endorsement covers:
To be eligible, you must already hold a current plumber's licence or provisional plumber's licence, or a current drainer's or provisional drainer's licence.
Please note that successful completion of this course does not automatically result in the issue of a QBCC endorsement. You must apply to the QBCC and meet all QBCC eligibility and licensing requirements at the time of application.
