There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Selection criteria

To complete this program you must:-

identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, as this training product has been developed specifically for you in support of equity policy for post compulsory education; and
attend an interview to determine your literacy and numeracy skill levels and discuss study arrangements. This is important as you need to commit to attending 5 residential blocks in Cairns.
Also, it is highly recommended you have an understanding of computer applications and basic finance operations.

No specific resources are required to successfully complete this course however you will need to provide your own USB and stationery.

It is recommended that you have access to a reliable Internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online learning system, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office,

You are required to attend compulsory face to face residential block training. The dates for your residential block training as per dates on the website. To enable your attendance at residential block training, you will need to be registered with ABSTUDY.
