This Hydrogen Safety skill set will provide you with the required understanding of safety guidelines and requirements when working hydrogen. It further provides an opportunity for you to gain an awareness of and how to manage associated hazard identification and emergency response procedures relating to working with Hydrogen.

It is highly recommended that you meet the minimum literacy and numeracy levels of Year 10.
Additionally, it is strongly recommended that you have access to, and possess a high level of, digital literacy, as portions of the course will be delivered online.
While not mandatory, it is highly desirable for you to have a background in trades such as electrical, instrumentation, process plant operations, or mechanical. A trade qualification and/or current industry experience is also highly recommended prior to entry.
You are responsible for meeting the minimum occupational health and safety requirements in practical classes.

A recommended reading list and/or required textbooks will be provided during orientation or at the start of each unit. The purchase of these resources may incur additional costs, or you may be able to borrow them from the TAFE Queensland library network.
You are also required to have access to and bring personal stationery and device, such as a laptop or tablet, that can access the internet to participate in and access online materials.
