Course overview

Many professionals are required to manage projects without formal project management training. This workshop provides a clear and practical introduction to the fundamentals of project management and the tools used to successfully deliver projects from start to finish.

You will learn a structured approach to managing projects, beginning with defining project scope and identifying deliverables. The workshop then explores how to break work into manageable activities, determine task dependencies, and create a realistic schedule. You will also learn how to identify and manage project risks, analyse stakeholder needs, and create a simple communication plan to keep projects aligned and on track. By the end of the workshop, you will have a clear understanding of the project lifecycle and the practical tools required to confidently manage projects in your organisation.

This workshop teaches core project management theory and principles rather than how to use project management software.
