The Marine Wildlife Care Essentials Skill Set introduces the key skills needed to support the care of aquatic and marine wildlife in rehabilitation settings. You’ll learn how to maintain healthy aquatic environments, monitor basic water quality, and apply safe, low‑stress feeding and handling techniques for a range of species. This course focuses on building confidence and practical skills to assist with the day‑to‑day care of animals such as marine turtles, fish, and other aquatic wildlife. It also highlights the importance of animal wellbeing, workplace safety, and consistent care practices. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to contribute to safe, effective, and compassionate care for injured or recovering marine animals, supporting positive outcomes for both wildlife and the environment.
