Statement of Participation
In this course you will develop specialist skills to evaluate installation parameters including, roofing, cladding, and design requirements. You will also learn how to perform cost and benefit analysis, and prepare documents to meet regulatory compliance and applicable rebates. We will also teach you how to plan and layout pipework systems, plan installation, and check components. Our industry experienced teachers will give you the support you need to succeed.
This course meets the regulatory requirements for a licensed plumber to gain an endorsement on their plumbing licence to install solar and heat pump water heating systems. It is also beneficial for specialist plumbers seeking to increase their technical skills.

This is the total amount you need to pay when you enrol. This may be the full fee for the course, or the student contribution amount if you are eligible for a subsidy or concession.

You must have successfully completed Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent) to gain entry to this course, and must hold a current Contractors or Occupational licence.
You are responsible for meeting the minimum occupational health and safety requirements in practical classes. Personal protective equipment: protective eyewear - clear safety glasses (Australian Standard AS 1336 or 1337). Protective footwear - safety capped, oil resistant boots (Australian Standard AS 2210). Protective clothing - neat and casual clothing (in classroom),100% cotton drill shorts and shirt for practical classes (sleeveless shirts or singlets are not permitted). Students failing to meet these minimum standards of dress will not be permitted entry in to practical classes.
