Course overview

This short course is ideal for beginners interested in learning professional sewing and dressmaking techniques for industrial and domestic machines. You will learn some basic pattern alteration and fitting techniques so that you can create individual and professionally finished garments. You'll produce at least one garment and carry bag, possibly more depending on the level of complexity and your developing skills. Sewing machines and overlockers are supplied. It may be helpful to have your own machine to practice with and complete some work at home.
