This unit is for those who may be required to carry out gas testing of an atmosphere prior to entering a specific area or workspace, (including confined spaces). The competency requires the person to interpret readings and take actions based on the interpretation.

While there are no formal entry requirements, it is recommended that you have sound literacy and numeracy skills. You will be required to take readings, interpret readings, and record the information.
