Fashion design

Whether you want to unleash your creativity as a designer, dressmaker or milliner, or pursue a more technical job in textile production, grading, or patternmaking, we have a fashion course for you.

Study fashion design

TAFE Queensland's fashion courses are recognised worldwide as being cutting-edge. We have partnerships with design houses around the world and our graduates have gone on to create or work for a host of successful labels including Billabong, Marc Jacobs, Easton Pearson, and Black Milk Clothing.

Our fashion facilities include workrooms fitted out with various industrial-standard sewing machines, industrial irons, and cutting tables. Our pattern-making studios and lecture rooms feature both communal tables and individual cubicles where you'll have access to the latest digital design software. As a fashion student at TAFE Queensland, whether you're a certificate or diploma student or are studying a degree delivered in partnership with a university, you'll also have the opportunity to showcase your designs to industry representatives and potential employers at our annual fashion parades.

You define your greatness, and we're here to help.
