Dreamworld

TAFE Queensland, in collaboration with Dreamworld, offers a unique pathway into the animal and wildlife industry.

TAFE Queensland has partnered with Dreamworld to deliver a unique pathway into the animal and wildlife industry, combining nationally recognised training with immersive, real-world experience. This program is designed to give you a strong foundation in animal care while connecting you directly with industry professionals and environments.

Through this partnership, you’ll work towards a dual qualification: Certificate III in Wildlife and Exhibited Care (ACM30321) and ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services (ACM30122). Training is delivered across a TAFE Queensland campus and within the Dreamworld precinct, giving you the opportunity to learn both in the classroom and on site in a real-world, industry setting.

As part of the program, you’ll take part in hands-on workshops and practical learning experiences in collaboration with the Life Sciences Precinct. These include exposure to koala husbandry and quarantine procedures, assisting with animal nutrition and meal preparation, maintaining enclosures, and gaining insight into veterinary care practices.

You’ll also have the opportunity to undertake structured work experience at Dreamworld, building practical skills and confidence while developing valuable industry connections.

This full-time, face-to-face program is designed to provide a balanced mix of theory and practical application, supporting you to graduate job-ready with the skills, knowledge, and experience employers are looking for.
