Advance your career with this high-level course. Develop practical Industry 4.0 skills in digital systems, automation, manufacturing technologies, industrial control systems, and technical documentation to support advanced manufacturing and engineering environments.

This course has been provided at no charge to *eligible participants. Spaces are limited.

Micro credential - Work effectively in autonomous environments

Automation systems and technology can be used to improve business delivery across a range of functions.

This micro-credential offers an introduction to automation in the workplace, its benefits to industry as companies are able to rely on systems that provide consistent outputs.

The course will outline/summarise a broad range of technologies such as robotics, communications, cyber security, sensors, wireless applications and systems integration that can be both autonomous and semi-autonomous.


Topics covered:

  • Understand the benefits of automation
  • Understand automation equipment and how it is used
  • Work effectively in an automated environment

Study mode: Online self-directed learning

Duration: 2-3 hours

Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) (UEE22020)

Thanks to this initiative, a full cohort of female, non-binary and gender diverse Year 11 and 12 students can study the Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) (UEE22020).  

This hands-on, entry-level course equips students with the skills, confidence, and industry insight to pursue careers in electrotechnology, engineering and advanced manufacturing.
