Toowoomba Graduation

This is a significant milestone for the graduating class of 2025. We can't wait to highlight the dedication you've shown in achieving your career goals during this special event.

Please note, official invitations were emailed to graduating students in January 2026.

Ceremony details

1:30pm: Graduand arrival

• Registration: Head straight to the registration desk to check in and receive your graduation card. Keep this card safe as it contains important ceremony information.
• Gowning: Make your way to the gowning area to collect your graduation attire.
• Merchandise: Graduation merchandise is available at the merchandise desk for both pre‑paid and on‑the‑day purchases.
• Mingle, snap and share: Enjoy light refreshments with your guests and take the opportunity to capture and share your photos.

1:45pm - 3:00pm: Photography

• If you pre‑booked photography, please arrive on time for your scheduled session.
• On‑the‑day photography purchases are also available.

3:00pm: Graduand briefing

• Listen for the announcement over the speakers.
• Your graduation card lists your seat number — please sit in this allocated seat.
• The briefing will cover important information, including:
  • Walking across the stage
  • Tassel etiquette
  • Seating and stage directions
  • When and where to return your gown after the ceremony
  • Guests may continue to relax and enjoy refreshments during this time.

3:30pm: Ceremony commences

• The ceremony begins with the procession of the official party and staff.

5pm: Ceremony concludes at approximately 5:00pm

5:00pm - 5.30pm: Photography and gown return

• Take any final photos.
  • Return your gown to the gowning area.
  • You may keep your mortarboard.
