The Métallon Jewellery Awards return in 2026 to celebrate the exceptional skill, creativity and craftsmanship of TAFE Queensland’s graduating apprentice jewellers. It’s their time to shine, with incredible awards and prizes up for grabs, including the prestigious Apprentice Jeweller of the Year Award for 2026 and recognition of this year’s Rising Stars.
This year’s theme, Nostalgia, invites our apprentices to look back to move forward, drawing inspiration from the memories, people, places and moments that have left a lasting impression.
Through intricate craftsmanship and contemporary design, familiar stories are transformed into something entirely new. Each piece offers a glimpse into the past through a modern lens, demonstrating how jewellery can hold memories, evoke emotion and give new life to the things we treasure.
Join us as we celebrate the next generation of jewellers and discover where memory meets imagination at Métallon 2026.
Explore our courses below and discover how you can become the next rising star in the world of Jewellery.
