The Career Taster Pilot Program is designed for Queensland Year 10 students across the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay region who are starting to think about what life might look like after school.

Get a taste for a future career while you’re still at school.
Delivered at TAFE Queensland campuses across the region, our Career Taster program gives Year 10 students the chance to test drive different career areas, try real hands‑on skills, and explore local industries — all without committing to a specific study or career pathway.
Career Tasters are a practical way to discover what you enjoy, build confidence, and learn about the training and job opportunities available in your community.
