The best of the best

TAFE Queensland had added another two Queensland Training Award trophies to the cabinet.

For the fourth year running, TAFE Queensland has been named the Large Training Provider of the Year at the 2024 Queensland Training Awards.

The win is a testament to our commitment to provide students, industries, government and communities with quality training.

This legacy of excellence is reflected in our 89.5 per cent student satisfaction rating and our 92.1 per cent employer satisfaction rating.

The recent growth in student enrolments has been massive – we are now sharing our knowledge and building the skills of more than 140,000 students across Queensland and overseas.

In the last year, TAFE Queensland has achieved a number of milestones including developing a range of gas, hydrogen, aquaculture, agriculture, cyber security, smart home technology, electric vehicle, autonomous vehicle, robotics and biotechnology training to support workforce skills advancement.

In addition, our work with the Palm Island Digital Service Centre program has also been recognised, winning the Premier's Industry Collaboration category at the Queensland Training Awards.

The community-owned and operated centre provides local people with valuable digital skills training, employment opportunities, and career pathways in Queensland’s growing digital sector.

The 2024 award wins continue our streak of excellence, following TAFE Queensland's 2023 Australian Training Award for Large Training Provider of the Year.
