TechnologyOne partnership supports students to achieve their study dreams

The TAFE Queensland Scholarship Foundation and TechnologyOne are proud to announce a new partnership to support students in achieving their educational and career aspirations.

The TAFE Queensland Scholarship Foundation and TechnologyOne are proud to announce a new partnership to support students in achieving their educational and career aspirations.

Having partnered with TAFE Queensland for almost a decade, TechnologyOne recognises the vital role of the vocational education and training (VET) sector plays in preparing Australians for the jobs of the future.

TechnologyOne is Australia's largest enterprise Software-as-a-Service provider and one of Australia's top 100 ASX-listed companies. With over 35 years of experience working with leading education providers across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, TechnologyOne’s integrated OneEducation suite now supports over 1.4 million students across 118 campuses.

TechnologyOne recognises the VET sector will play a major role in training Australians for the jobs of the future and is committed to fostering Queensland capabilities and supporting the next generation of professionals through its world-class graduate programs and scholarships. The company is focused on making a difference for underprivileged and at-risk youth - empowering them to transform their lives and build pathways to success.

"As a proudly Queensland born and headquartered company, we’re dedicated to creating value within our local economy and within the communities in which we live, work, and study,” David Cope, Executive Vice President – Education at TechnologyOne said.

“Promoting learning opportunities to underrepresented groups is key to bringing together diverse perspectives and experiences that drive innovative solutions, keeping Australia’s workforce vibrant and competitive."

Since its inception in 2015 and celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the TAFE Queensland Scholarship Program has awarded over $3.4 million, assisting more than 720 Queenslanders in achieving their career goals. The Foundation is committed to helping people change their lives by providing inclusive and equitable opportunities through applied learning, emerging technologies, and evolving skills.

John Tucker, Chief Executive Officer of TAFE Queensland, emphasised the transformative impact of these scholarships.

"Scholarships can be life-changing for students, providing them with the financial support and encouragement they need to build better futures for themselves and those around them,” Mr Tucker said.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of sponsors like TechnologyOne who generously donate each year to the TAFE Queensland Scholarship Foundation, which funds our scholarships program. We know the power of training and skills, and with TechnologyOne’s support, we are helping our students to change their lives and achieve their career aspirations."
