New Digital Literacy Assessment
TAFE Queensland is excited to announce an important update to the bksb platform, designed to support the new standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), coming into effect in July 2025. As part of these changes, a Digital Literacy Assessment is being developed and will be fully integrated into the bksb platform by mid-June. The latest standards place a stronger focus on digital capability, ensuring students and educators are equipped with the skills necessary for evolving educational environments.
What is changing?

- Pre-enrolment digital skills assessments alongside Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) evaluations

An online assessment tool that determines a student's core skills and current working level in literacy and numeracy within the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
