Develop your artistic skills with confidence.

Strengthen your drawing technique and build your creative capability in this practical life drawing short course. Designed for absolute beginners through to experienced creatives, this course focuses on developing strong foundational skills through guided, hands‑on learning with professional life models.

During in‑person, tutor‑led sessions, you’ll work through a series of short warm‑ups before progressing into longer poses. Each class is structured to support new learners while also offering extension activities for returning students looking to refine and challenge their practice.

Held in a respectful and inclusive studio environment, sessions include clear guidance on studio etiquette to ensure a positive learning experience for everyone.

This session is ideal for beginners seeking a supportive introduction to life drawing, practising artists wanting to strengthen their observation and anatomy skills, and designers, animators, tattooists, and other creatives looking to improve line confidence.

What you’ll learn:

  • Fundamentals of gesture, proportion, and basic anatomy
  • Light, shadow, and form using charcoal, graphite, and ink
  • Composition, negative space, and expressive mark‑making

Your life drawing classes will include professional life models. Respectful, inclusive, studio etiquette is expected and explained at the start of the course.

You will be loaned the required tools, equipment and resources by the teacher each week.

Course commencement is subject to minimum enrolment numbers.

Enrolment fee includes course supplies provided at each class by the teacher which are non-refundable.
