Course overview

Complete this course as part of your apprenticeship to become a trade-qualified roof plumber. With high demand for specialised skills in the construction industry, the required number of new roof plumbers is expected to increase up to 50,000 over the next five years.

In this course you will consolidate your skills in installation of roof sheeting, wall cladding, non-metallic roof materials and insulation for a roof. You will learn how to install fascias, gutters, downpipes, valley gutters, ridge capping, flashings and wall cladding. Our industry-qualified, expert teachers will ensure you can carry out these tasks to the high standards demanded in the industry.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship course will allow you to apply to become a qualified roof plumber and continue to progress your career in the construction industry.
