According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, there are expected to be around 60,000 job openings for contract, program and project administrators over the next five years. Employers are looking for qualified candidates who can provide good customer service, and communicate well with a variety of stakeholders.
This qualification will provide you with specialised skills and knowledge in a range of areas including the application of project scope, time management and quality management techniques. You'll also learn procurement procedures and stakeholder engagement processes. You'll be led by our team of industry professionals who will guide you to reach your education goals.
Successfully completing this course gives you the skills you need to confidentially seek employment in project management and contracts administration.

Entry into the mainstream program is via direct entry. To complete this program you'll need a project to work on. This could be work based, community based or another suitable project based venture.
Entry into the accelerated program is via an application process and it recommended that you have at least 5 years' experience working in the industry.
Skill and knowledge assessments are an essential step in progressing through your course. You may be assessed in a number of ways while you are studying at TAFE Queensland, including observation, written assessment, questioning, portfolios, work samples, third-party feedback, and through recognition of prior learning.
