Selection criteria

This course satisfies the requirements of the Electrical Safety Office (ESO) to apply for an electrical contractors licence, for a Qualified Business Person (QBP).

Resources required

It's highly recommended for you to have a current email address and access to a computer, the internet and the following:- 

Legislation:

  • The Electrical Safety Act 2002
  • The Electrical Safety Regulation 2013

Resource:

Electrical Safety Code of Practice 2013 - Managing Electrical risk in the workplace (this can be downloaded from the online library).

Greater Brisbane - Online Delivery
It is recommended that you complete one unit at a time by self-paced learning. Each unit must be completed within 6 months of the date of enrolment.

Please note: BSBESB402 - Establish legal and risk management requirements of new business ventures is available via Saturday class.
