Get the most out of life and study in Australia with our student support services at TAFE Queensland. In addition to disability, counselling, and learning support services that are available to all students, we also have dedicated support services for our international students.

Our team of international student support advisors can help you settle into life in Australia and provide support to help you with your studies. If you're ever feeling confused, or aren't sure who to ask for help, our international student support advisors are here.
Our international student advisors can also help if you have any questions about:
- finding accommodation
- setting up a bank account in Australia
- how to use public transport in Queensland
- dealing with homesickness or culture shock
- Overseas Student Health Cover or local health services
- student visa conditions including attendance, academic performance, and employment restrictions.

Student Assistance Line
You can call the International Student Assistance Line on 1800 644 044 for general support and enquiries i.e. Accommodation information, Transport information, Health/Doctor information. This number is available after hours and on public holidays. In the event of an emergency, please call 000 for Police, Fire or Ambulance.
International Student Hubs
Student hubs are a welcoming service for international students in Queensland. Run by local multicultural and community organisations, the hubs provide access to free WiFi, information, support, events and contacts to enhance your student experience. There are currently student hubs located in Brisbane, Cairns, and on the Gold Coast.
