Our TAFE Queensland student ambassadors are here to support and assist other students, be a student voice, and promote the many activities and opportunities available to students across TAFE Queensland. What I love doing: Walking around the beach, swimming in the ocean, hiking in national parks and spending time with friends.

Goals and dreams: To build an eco-friendly farm and travel around the world.
About me: I‘m easy going and someone who lives in the moment.

Study area: Nursing
Nationality: Nepalese
What I love doing: Dancing, singing, travelling and talking to people
Past experience: Modelling, hosting a radio show and moving to Australia at the age of 18.

Wellbeing student ambassadors
Name: D’Arcy Evans
Study Area: Electrotechnology
About me: I have a passion for opening up discussions about mental health and wellbeing and am also studying psychology at university. I’m hoping to learn from my fellow students about how we can improve the wellbeing of apprentices in the trade industry.
Name: Amber Whitfield
Study Area: Electrotechnology
About me: I have an Instagram page that promotes positive mental health and supports women in trades. I’m keen to connect with all students (both male and female) and would like to contribute to making TAFE Queensland a safe place for students to ask for help.
Name: Glenys Carter
Study area: Counselling
About me: Glenys is a mature-aged student from regional Queensland. She is passionate about communicating with people and brings a wealth of life experience to the position. Glenys completed the Student Ambassador program in 2021 and is a returning Ambassador in 2022.
