Empowering students to share their feedback and actively shape their learning journey

At TAFE Queensland, we are passionate about engaging collaboratively with our diverse student body to help shape and inform the teaching and learning environment.

In 2024, we officially launched Student Voice at TAFE Queensland to provide opportunities for students to actively participate in decision-making, it values community and collaboration that fosters and supports a culture of learning and belonging.

Since then, members have been working hard to develop a student council at TAFE Queensland.

Who are Student Voice members?
There are a number of roles and opportunities within the Student Voice program to:

  • promote student engagement opportunities
  • participate in feedback through meetings, surveys, and pilot programs
  • work collaboratively with staff to inform decisions and enact change.

Student engagers and collaborators, representatives, ambassadors and leaders are volunteers whose actions not only enrich the lives of others but also contribute to their own personal growth, building skills, resilience, and connections that will benefit them in their future careers.
