Student Voice at TAFE Queensland
We are passionate about engaging collaboratively with TAFE Queensland’s diverse student body to help shape and inform the teaching and learning environment. To facilitate this, Student Voice at TAFE Queensland framework has been developed to provide opportunities for students and alumni to actively participate in decision making.
Becoming an active part of Student Voice is an exciting opportunity that will enable you to expand your professional networks, develop personal and professional skills, and make a difference in your community.
You will be well suited to Student Voice if you like:
- Spreading the word about student engagement opportunities to your peers
- Participating in opportunities to provide feedback such as online meetings, student surveys, and pilot programs
- Working collaboratively with staff to inform decisions and enact change.

Engagers and collaborators
Engagers and collaborators participate in student feedback surveys, forums, focus groups, and support orientation and campus events such as RUOK Day, open days, and study area or course-based events.

Leaders
Leaders from each region, vocational and higher education, will form a peak student body to represent all students.
Internationally and nationally there are multiple definitions of the student voice and students as partners that include a wide range of roles, responsibilities and activities.
