Book in a SkillsTech region induction
A TAFE Queensland apprentice induction is the formal onboarding session where TAFE Queensland induction officer, the employer, and the apprentice agree on the training plan, workplace arrangements, and compliance requirements at the start of an apprenticeship. Workplace inductions are only conducted within the Brisbane region ie Caboolture to Oxenford, otherwise select phone induction. Separate links are used for electrical business to all other trades.
Please note, induction bookings are currently only available at the following locations:
TAFE Queensland - SkillsTech campuses only, including:
- Acacia Ridge
- Alexandra Hills
- Bracken Ridge
- Eagle Farm
How to make a booking
- Click on the Microsoft Bookings link provided suitable to your business type, and location, and wanting induction or telephone induction.
- Select an available date and time.
- Enter all required details stated on the form: - apprentice name - employer details - contact information
- Confirm the booking.
- You will receive a confirmation email with appointment
To streamline the induction process, please have available the following information regarding your qualified tradespersons. This is a requirement of the Employer Resource Assessment set by the Queensland Government.
Provide a list of qualified persons in the workplace that can provide training under the apprentice’s training plan and have available a copy of their qualification/licence (a copy of the licence is required for licenced trades).
Provide a list of all apprentices within your company (under the same qualification).
